Welcome to Episode 9 of Roll Play Grow, the podcast for tabletop entrepreneurs, creators, and fans.
CW: Suicidal Ideation at 20:50
Our ninth guest is Ressie of Inkling. She is a very talented artist and the co-owner of the screen printing shop that is taking the tabletop twitter by storm. She and her husband make gorgeous designs and screen print them on t-shirts and blank fabric to make dice bags and masks. We get a little deep in this episode, and we talk about leaving a toxic work situation to pursue your passion full time, working with your spouse, and learn some of the ins and outs of balancing local print commissions with creating for an industry you’re passionate about. I do need to give a couple content warnings this time. First: there’s definitely language in this episode, and secondly, there is a brief discussion of suicidal ideation about a third of the way into the episode. Like I said, we got really deep, and Ressie has some really valuable things to say.
Before we jump into today’s episode, it’s business time. First up, we do have a Patreon for Lightheart Adventures and Roll Play Grow. It’s a pretty cool place, and you have options on whether you’d like to follow the adventurer track, which will get you maps and adventures, or the merchant track, which gets you some fun bonuses around this podcast.
